Sooner Soccer Camps are open to any and all entrants limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender. Residential Camp Our coaching staff will put campers through technical and tactical exercises that will reflect a game environment. Both the technical and tactical applications are taught at the highest level to ensure the player gets the maximum from this training environment. These exercises coupled with functional training will ensure that the coaching each player receives prepares them for the conditions they encounter during a competitive game. Morning Session - Speed and Agility/ Technical Training Afternoon Session - Small Group Tactical Training Evening Session - Soccer Tennis/Futsal/Small/Full Sided Games Day Camp The day camp will be an environment where our coaching staff will develop the player with individual technical work and small sided games. This environment will ensure that the soccer player gets the maximum entertainment from their camp experience while also becoming a better soccer player. These conditions are wonderful for the younger soccer player who wants to learn from a quality coaching staff and enjoy their soccer experience. Team Camp If you want to attend Sooner Soccer Camps as a team, you must have 10 or more people. By request, the camp staff will cater to each team's training needs with a challenging program that will cover technical and tactical areas of the game. Each team member will also receive a free Sooner Soccer string bag. Sooner Goalkeeper Academy Goalkeeper training will be available at all of our camps. Goalkeepers are trained on both the technical and tactical elements of the position. The training is game specific and is designed to give goalkeepers the ability to impact their game immediately. Goalkeepers will be integrated into small sided and full sided games to help enhance their development at camp. Facilities All our camps will take place at the OU Soccer Complex. The OU Soccer Complex consisting of a game field and practice facilities has recently undergone a $4.6 million renovation and is regarded as one of the finest collegiate soccer environments in the nation. Residential campers will be housed in dormitories on campus, which is where meals will be served. The dormitories are a short walk to the OU Soccer Complex. Campers will be supervised 24 hours by our camp counselors. Camp T-Shirt Every camper will receive a Sooner Soccer Camp T-Shirt at registration. Additional Sooner Soccer Camp T-shirt's will be available for purchase at our camp store. Camp Ball Hand stitched Sooner soccer balls are available for pre order purchase-see the attached registration form, if interested. All campers will need a ball during camp. Camp Store A camp store will be open during camp. Our camp store will contain many Sooner Soccer novelties and souvenirs. Ground Transportation Sooner Soccer Camps provides ground transportation from the Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City for a one way fee of $25 and a round trip fee of $35. Please check the appropriate space on the registration form if you'd like to take advantage of this service. Upon receiving your registration, complete and return a travel form with the information needed to transport you when arriving and departing camp.
